  • It isn't that complicated people. The record is "oldest LIVING dog." The other dog died in 2003. It can't retain the title of oldest "LIVING" dog if it is dead, that's how a 26 year old dog dethrones a 28 year old dog.

  • Why would HIPPA have protected them?  No disclosures about their health were released.  The article simply gives the names and pictures of two people in the act of breaking the law, in a space viewable by the public.

  • My point is that the jury will determine whether or not it is reasonable or not that prior to this occurrence that it was Starbucks' responsibility to periodically check the s-pipe for a hidden camera.

  • That's the point, this father is one of those "sue happy" individuals. He is going after Starbucks because that's where the cash is. If he was interested in justice he'd be trying to stick it to the person that planted the camera, potentially enlisting Starbucks' assistance.

  • It could have been the customer that entered right before the plaintiff that put the camera there. In that case, what is Starbucks to do? Do they have an obligation to have a bathroom attendant? It is possible that the plaintiff himself placed the camera in there (Balloon Boy anyone?).

  • Why stop there? Personally I'm for legalizing pot, meth, masturbating in public, sodomizing children, and as mentioned in my previous post, murder. If we would just stop labeling all acts as "crimes" then there would literally be no criminals.
